Investment Opportunities

Property on the Costa del Sol has increased greatly in value over recent years as there has been, and will always be, demand for homes where the weather is good all year round. Prices have risen to the point that many coastal properties (with a sea view) are now out of reach for many Britons.

Inland property has also seen some dramatic rises, but prices were much lower relative to the coast, so many places are still very affordable. It is likely that in the years to come, as more and more people want to swap the crowded coast for inland tranquillity, prices will rise and so property bought here now should represent a good investment.

Over-development has blighted the coastal region of the Costa del Sol and the authorities are, somewhat belatedly, trying to right the wrong by restricting the amount of new development they will allow, particularly in rural, inland areas. This restriction to supply should also help keep demand fro out-stripping supply and, so in turn, keep prices rising over time.
