Using a Lawyer (abogado)

You should never make a property or land purchase without taking legal advice, especially overseas where you will be unfamiliar with the legal process and requirements. Many lawyers in the south of Spain specialise in representing British and Irish residents or ex-pats and they often speak English and can provide translations of Spanish legal documents - but do remember that only Spanish documents are legal here.
